Yep. The title says it all. Welcome to my bit of the internet to rant, rave, and generally splurge about life with my family. So I guess we should do introductions?

I’m Laura, and I currently live in Yorkshire with my Yorkshireman and our two little boys. Oscar is a feisty 4 year old who is constantly on the go and wanting to know more about the world. He keeps me on my toes with situations I’m not expecting, like the drive to nursery the other morning when he randomly asked “Mummy, how did Coby get out of your tummy?”. Cue my swerving into oncoming traffic to avoid answering that one..

That brings me on to his little brother, my youngest and the ‘baby of the family’, Coby. He’s 2 but thinks and acts like he’s about 6. I definitely feel like he’s grown up too quick as he is constantly trying to keep up with his older brother. He’s got the cheekiest face ever and can get away with most things, and is a complete chocoholic (sorry to the mums who only feed their kids chocolate every other Easter, but you’ve obviously never had one kid screaming at you for a poo while the other is tearing your ankles apart for a milky bar off the top shelf in the supermarket).

So, I decided to start writing about our life and adventures. I’ve always loved to write and been more of a creative person, and now both boys are in nursery/pre-school for a few mornings a week I have some time to myself to indulge in something that doesn’t involve cleaning, picking up toys, making snacks and changing nappies (currently potty training the youngest so fingers crossed that last one won’t happen much longer!).

Whether or not anybody else other me find this worth reading I don’t know, but here goes..
